Mammoth Mountain Plans $1 Million Worth Of Social Distancing To Reopen Mid-Nov

Written by on September 21, 2020

In news from northern Malibu … Mammoth Mountain will open for skiing and riding on November 14.

Masks will be required in lift lines, gondolas, lodges, shuttle buses and anywhere within six feet of others.

The ski area plans to reduce ticket sales … and will tightly regulate the number of daily lift tickets.

They will be available by advance purchase only.

And needless to say …  priority access will go to season pass holders.

The ski resort says it is investing over $1 million in COVID-19 related resort enhancements. These include increased “grab and go” food and beverage offerings, additional outdoor seating and quick transaction technology.
