Malibu Septic Expert Craig George To Retire

Written by on June 11, 2019

For 24 years … Craig George has been the go to guy at Malibu City Hall for the toughest building problems.

Starting out with septic tank issues … George became recognized up-and-down California as a leading expert on on-site waste water disposal systems.

Malibu promoted George to being in charge of the cities building safety and inspection department.

Last night Malibu city manager Reva Feldman send Craig George is going to retire.

NEWSCART 75174 REVA GEORGE

“Craig has been with the city for 24 years. He is a dear friend … an important part of this community and the fabric of this community …  he probably knows more about everybody’s houses and everybody themself.”

Craig George has been working long days to get the city bureaucracy to process fire rebuilding projects quickly … and by all accounts Malibu is way ahead of LA County in getting building permits approved.

George will retire in early August … but Feldman says he will continue to help the city as a consultant after that.
