Written by on April 14, 2020

Drive thru testing resumes at Malibu City Hall for the first time this week … and city officials say anyone who is worried about having been exposed should make an appointment to get a test.

Even if they don’t show symptoms.

The testing effort is offered by the City of Malibu … Community Organized Relief Effort (CORE), Covid Clinic and Malibu Medical Group,.

Drive-thru testing is available for residents of the greater Malibu community.

And that includes all first responders … and essential workers in Malibu such as grocery workers.

They should be tested regardless of symptoms . the city says…

Community members who are concerned that they may have been exposed are also urged to get tested.

Pre-registration is required online at https://www.MalibuMedicalGroup.com/contents/covid-19.

Last week, 1,197 coronavirus tests were administered during the drive-thru testing at City Hall.

There are no out-of-pocket expenses for the test. If you have health insurance and have COVID-19 symptoms, your insurance company will cover 100% of the testing cost.

If you have symptoms and no health insurance, you are requested to please make a donation of at least $60 or more to www.COREresponse.org.

No one will be denied testing due to an inability to pay.

The city says that any community members or businesses that would like to support this testing service may also make a donation to www.COREresponse.org.
