Students in Malibu … like those across California … are adjusting to school at home.

And in order to do that … kids need two things.

A computer.

And internet access.

Santa Monica Malibu school officials are asking parents if their kids have both.

For kids who do not have computers or internet hotspots to use … the district i splanning to supply both.

SMMUSD will distribute Chromebook computers … probably next Tuesday … according to the principal at Websetr Elementary School.

The school are asking all parents – even those who have computers for their kids – to fill out an equipment assessment survey.

It’s online at the school’s website … we have a link to it at the KBUU Newswire.

The Malibu Elementary principal said in an email that currently there are 17 students who need Chromebook computers … and five who need HotSpots.
