LA County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl has also been getting an earful on bitter experiences caused by the county government during the Woolsey Fire.

TV opictures of boats unloading emergency supplies … desperately needed as malibu residents battled flames with garden hoses ,,, have triggered massive criticism of the evacuation roadblocks.

The city of Malibu has been bitterly criticized for the unyielding roadblocks … but in point of fact … it was the L A County sheriffs department and fire department that ordered them and controlled the situation.

The county supervisors says she wants to develop a better understanding of the notification, evacuation and repopulation experience during the Woolsey Fire.

Her office will be hosting two “community listening sessions.”

The first will be held on Saturday, February 23rd from 10am-3pm at Elkins Auditorium at Pepperdine University.

The second will be held Sunday, March 3rd from 10am-3pm at King Gillette Ranch in Malibu Canyon.
