No Getting Baked At The Beach – County Bans Pot Smoking At Zuma, Topanga

L A County has banned smoking pot at Malibu beaches.
The Board of Supervisors on Tuesday updated the county’s legal definition of “smoke” and “smoking.”
Both vaping tobacco … and smoking marijuana … are now banned at L A County owned beaches, parks and government buildings.
That includes the beach and beach parking lots at Topanga … and Zuma.
California voters legalized marijuana for adult use in 2016.
Health advocates and others … however … are turned off by second-hand smoke.
Smoking cigarettes has been illegal on the beach for years… and lifeguard have been seen poilitely asking people to snuff their butts and put them in trash cans.
Drinking beer or wine can earn a nasty and expensive ticket.
Now .. vaping and pot joins the list.
