Malibu Woman Charged With Hate Crime, Assault For Despicable Acts Caught On Tape

A Malibu woman was arrested yesterday … after biting a security guard at a supermarket … calling her an N-word … and throwing dog food at her.

Much of that behavior was caught in a video.

The suspect … Kashmire Duran … is identified as white in her booking record with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The security guard … Natosha Lawson … is an African American.

The police report says Duran had gotten into a fight with her father … inside a

Supermarket in West Hollywood.

Witnesses say the security guard tried to break up the scuffle.

And Duran turned on the guard … biting her with enough force to draw blood.

Duran also reportedly hit Lawson in the head with a glass bottle.

Video shows the aftermath … with the guard blocking the getaway vehicle driven by Duran’s father.

At one point … Duran rolled down the car window … threw what appeared to be dog food at the African American woman and another Black security guard.

She yelled … “Here’s some dog food, —” at the two Black security guards, using the N-word.

It took deputies five minutes to arrive.

They arrested the Malibu woman.

She faces felony charges … one count each of assault with a deadly weapon and assault by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury.

Also …  one misdemeanor charge of violation of civil rights.

If convicted as charged … Kashmir Duran of Malibu could face up to six years in prison.
