Malibu City Hall Not (Yet) Matching City Of LA Face Mask Requirements – LA Order Covers Grocery And Construction Workers

Malibu officials are waiting to see what L A County Public health will do … after the City of Los  Angeles made a new face mask rul.

“Starting this Friday, April 10 … at midnight Thursday night/Friday morning … all employees of many non-medical essential business will be required to wear cloth-based over their noses and mouths while at work.

“Employers are required to provide these face protections or to reimburse employees for this costs this applies to workers in grocery stores, drugstores, restaurants, hotels, taxis and ride-share vehicles and construction sites.”

Late last night … Malibu officials say they will see if the Garcetti face mask rule is matched by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health.

The city of L A has been out front a day or two ahead of other public agencies on many recommendations and regulations.

The Malibu city council meets next Monday … and donation could institute such a rule on its own.

Effective Friday, residents must wear a mask, bandanna or other type of covering over their noses and mouths when in grocery stores, pharmacies, hardware stores, coin-operated laundry services, restaurants, hotels, taxis, ride-hail vehicles and several other essential businesses.
