LA County Ups Mal Cyn Murder Reward to $15,000

Written by on July 18, 2018

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors yesterday added $10,000 to the reward fund for information to find the person who shot and killed an Irvine man in Malibu Creek State Park.

Tristan Boudette was killed in his tent as he slept with his two little girls on June 22nd.

The Malibu city council has already approved a $5000 reward in the case.

There was a series of about seven shootings in 2016 and 17 … but sheriffs deputies have not found any link between those.

No shootings were reported for nearly a year … but in on June 18th there was another shooting … a car hit by a bullet … six days before Boudette was killed.

Nerves are on edge in the canyon … were there are isolated houses in the Monte Nido area.

The road to the Canyon was closed twice in the last week when … in each case …. a report of a single gunshot was phoned in.

Sheriffs deputies aided with a helicopter searched Malibu Canyon …. but found nothing.
