Hurricane Churns Big Waves Towards Malibu

The hurricane season is cranking up way down south … below the tip of Baja California.
That means some big waves next week … starting Sunday … reaching 7 or 8 ffeet here in Malibu.
Tropical Storm Aletta briefly intensified into a hurricane yesterday.
It’s moving northwest into cold water and is expected to dissipate.
But not before generating some big surf … that should hit Malibu Mondya and Tuesday.
The biggest impact here will be parking on PCH.
Kind of an early start for the Pacific hurricane season,.
A tropical depression named Bud is right behind Aletta.
It may hit central Mexico next week.
