“This is the first year Friday on PCH during the summer we are very very excited about this we believe that this plan actually saved somebody’s life.”
That’s sheriff’s lieutenant Jennifer Seetoo.
She says grants from L A County paid for more traffic units on PCH on weekends last summer.
And that resulted in a safer road.
Speeding tickets were written at record levels.
Not just vehicle drivers were targeted .. either.

“We engaged the bicyclists and encouraged them to follow the rules of the road … and if they didn’t … those that we caught … we cited.
“And we noticed that … even our injury collisions … those were down 42 percent this summer.”
That’s Lt Jennifer Seetoo from the Malibu Lost Hills sheriffs station.
How did the sheriffs department to handle traffic jams this summer … particularly at a certain unnamed Malibu restaurant with the letters NOBU out front??
