Jay Wagner Looks Like A Marlboro Man

Malibu city councilman Jay Wagner was severely injured defending his longtime home on Old Chimney Road in the fire.

He spent a week in the intensive care unit at UCLA Santa Monica.

And he was at the Malibu city Council meeting yesterday … speaking in a frail voice but exhibiting strength and resolve that might remind a bystander of his days as a Marlboro man.

“I am doing much better thanks for asking.

My kidneys have come back, they are at about 80%, my lungs are at 75-80%, and my eyes are around 90.

“So all my systems are working, all my symptoms are being monitored at all local emergency room by Dr. Jill.

“They are serving a great deal of improvement, far beating the expectations of the ICU doctors and I was released from UCLA.”
