Malibu Kids Will Get Lessons Via iPhones

Written by on November 28, 2018

Malibu high school teachers went to school yesterday in Santa Monica … to learn how to convert their lesson plans up to the Google Classroom platform.

Principal Chelli Nye says kids … who are out of school for the third week now … need to sign into Google Classroom using any laptop … tablet or cell phone.

Classroom assignments will be posted in Google Classroom.

Teachers have provided work to help further students’ learning experiences, keep them up to date, and on track for when we return to school.

The principal says she knows that students ability to access and do this homework is extremely varied.

And that these so-called assignments will not negatively impact a student’s grade: it is only meant to enhance the learning experience.

The principal says teachers and guidance counselors will be reaching out to each family to talk about specific educational wants and needs.

They will be asking if kids will be returning when the school opens in two weeks … if  they need a long term independent study or would like to enroll in a full time Independent Study Program … using computers.
