The overnight rainfall was gentle and did not cause any problems in Malibu or in the Santa Monica Mountains.

No road closures were added to the list overnight.

Most of the measuring stations we check have been burned out.

But we do know that upper decker Canyon got .39 inches of rain.

Agoura got .45 inches of rain.

And the Monte Nido area in Malibu Canyon got three quarters of an inch.

Big Rock Mesa in eastern Malibu received .63 inches of rain.

Here at the KBUU studios … our rain gauge melted in the fire … but not much rain was observed.

The Disaster Assistance Center at Malibu’s courthouse building is closed today for Thanksgiving day.

It will open again Friday at 10 in the morning.

This is where residents can register for FEMA assistance and get other help.

The hours this weekend will be

·      Friday, November 23: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

·      Saturday, November 24: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

·      Sunday, November 25: CLOSED

Law professors from Pepperdine University are hosting a free law clinic for fire victims this Sunday in Malibu.

The law professors will help people learn about FEMA and SBA assistance.

Insurance issues … and understanding the benefits and limitations of fire insurance policies.

Also … landlord tenant issues and tenants’ rights.

The Pepperdine legal rights for fire victims clinic is free.

This Sunday from 11:30 in the morning to 1:30 in the afternoon.

It will be at Saint Aidan’s Presbyterian Church .. on Pacific Coast Highway at paradise Cove.

It’s free and no appointment is necessary.

That’s this Sunday from 11:30 in the morning to 1:30 in the afternoon.

Celebrities are lining up for a concert to benefit Malibu fire victims.

The One Love Malibu Festival on Dec. 2 will help raise funds to rebuild Malibu and the community after the tragic Woolsey Fires that blazed through the area in November.

Katy Perry, Gwen Stefani, Chris Martin and Macy Grey are set to take the stage.

Other performers include Robin Thicke, Natasha Bedingfield, Brandi Carlile, Chad Smith, Taylor Hawkins, Angel Haze, Dorothy and Rita Wilson.

There will also be a live auction.

All proceeds from the even will go to the Malibu Foundation and One Love Malibu relief organizations.

And the Boys and Girls Club is making cash grants to people who have lost their jobs or had catastrophic losses in the fire … who need immediate cash.

The festival takes over One Gun Ranch from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Dec. 2

Tickets start at 100 dollars each … and go up to 30 thousand dollar …
